le coral is for those who love phuket sans the crowd thst it is known for.
This stay sits at a very easy drive away from most phuket highlights, yet has a very relaxed, solitary charm. Essentially for those looking to avoid crowd and chill by the sea.

We were very sure of Le Coral being a non-touristy stay near the very touristy Phuket. What we did not know was that the place is a far-cry from the loud, bustling Phuket that we see on social media. Le Coral has a very idyllic location, set across the Natai Beach, with the Klong Bo Dan Canal running in between.
The check-in is smooth though they do not allow early check-ins; we jumped into the pool rather than wait in the restaurant to work up our appetite. That is the highlight here, the FOOD.
We highly recommend that you skip the buffet and choose from their à la carte menu, for the food comes steaming fresh to your table. While there is a lot on the menu to choose from, the local cuisine deserves a shoutout. Sample all their curries (the ones with real coconuts), and you’d near zen.
We switched between two different room categories (Luxury Suite and Pool Access Room) for 2 days each, and fell in love with the suite. It is humongous and has a dedicated work space that we loved. The other room category is justifiably priced as well, and should be your pick if you are into private pools and 24-hour pool access right from your sit-out area.
Le Coral comes with a well-equipped gym and a spa as well. Guests are also offered free activities including kayaking, bicycling and canoeing. With some luck and gear, you can also go fishing at the canal here. The vistas are stunning.

KAHAANI EDITORWe have explored a lot of food places across Phuket and are very sure when we claim that Le Coral chef does dole out the most authentic, unforgettable Thai cuisine.
So much so that we were happily dunking in Thai curries throughout our stay here!
Location
Le Coral is nestled right by the sea in Phang Nga, around a 30-minute drive from Phuket. It lies close to the Phuket airport as well, and is great as a hideout and dirt-cheap prices for the services that it offers. The beach is a 5-minute walk away and promises glorious sunsets.
The hotel sits almost midway between Phuket Old Town and Phuket Airport. Taxis are easily available till late evenings, finding one at nighttime might be a problem. It’s best to book one via the hotel reception or opt for a self-drive vehicle.
Who is it for?
Le Coral will bowl you over with its tariff that easily fits most pockets, without compromising on any of the essentials. More than just the essentials. The food here is blissful. If a luxury staycation in Thailand that is cheaper than a trip to Goa is on your mind, pick the Le Coral.
